I am in the mood to write fic, but I need to wash the toilet first. Yay clean toilet.
I'm very tempted to ask my parents to buy me an iPod Nano (8GB). I dunno. I'm not too fond of Apple products (Or apples, in general. But that has got nothing to do with electronics), but the price for the 8GB Nano is too tempting. The Sony NWZ-B130 Yenn Ling and I are looking at is at, like, RM229 for 2GB. While the Nano was RM559 (Or was it 599?) for 8GB. So, yeah. Kinda... Gowh, I want to watch House and NY and gymnastics all on my MP3 player, LOL. But it'll be funny in the sense that MY MP3 PLAYER WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MY HANDPHONE.
BUT THEN AGAIN, MY HANDPHONE? IS PRICELESS. BECAUSE AWESOME PEOPLE BOUGHT IT FOR ME. AND I WILL NEVER FORGET.
Anyway, comprehensive LIST OF THINGS TO BLOG/WRITE ABOUT! - School! Part 2 (Already in Drafts, partially complete) - Prop 8 - Appreciation - A bit on my trip back to Singapore - Sleepover!

HOLY SHIZZ Ivana Hong is going to WOGA?
NUUUUUU!
Hahaha, imagine the STUBBORN PARENTS DRAMA. MR LIUKIN, COACH, vs MRS HONG, (Seemingly?) STEOROTYPICAL CHINESE MUM WHO PUSHES CHILD TO ACHIEVE, vs MR BROSS. HAHAHA WIN.
Disclaimer: Those statements were not meant to offend anyone. And I'm Chinese, so don't call me racist. Haha. Anyway, I believe it's ingrained in Chinese genes that success can be achieved through hard work, filial piety, and pushy parents.
I still think Ivana could benefit from moving to Chow's, because they ONLY HAVE ONE ELITE (HAHAHA and an awesome one, too), so she'll get more... what's that word... attention? No, maybe focus. Yeah. WOGA's got an amazing track record, but... OH WELL WHO KNOWS, NOT ME.
Anyway, I now have EVEN MORE THINGS! to blog about, and I DON'T HAVE TIME! to blog about them.
And I'm going over to Min Shen's for the sleepover.
AWESOMESAUCE!
Also, I realize I sound quite insane in this post, but oh well. My inner monologue has been sounding a little insane lately.

Instructions:Remove
one question from above and add in your personal question. Make a total
of 20 questions and tag 8 people. List them out at the end of the post.
Who ever does the tag will have blessings from all.

2. If today is your last day, what will you do? I'll spend the day hangin' with my friends and family, of course. (Kind of an obvious answer, really. And a standard answer. But I'm not feeling creative at the moment)
3. Have you ever thought of getting married? Uh... no. Not really.
4. Do you think you have enough confidence? Yes, when it comes to things I know about.
5. How many babies do you want? *cough*NONE*cough* Give me 10 years, then maybe I'd answer your question.

7. Do you believe in eternal love? ... Uh, yes?
8. In your opinion, what are the characteristics of the perfect boy/girlfriend?(10 characteristics) He..
1) Has to get along with my family, especially my parents and sister. Bonus if he gets along with my cousins. Because cousins who have boyfriends/girlfriends who get along with me is an awesome thing. Quid pro quo. 2) Gets along with me well. 3) I feel comfortable with. 4) Gets along with my friends and all their quirky bizzarity (I made that word up, ha). 5) Is fine with me obsessing over weird things like tennis/Justine and gymnastics/USWGT 6) Knows how to respect others, is respected, and knows how to respect himself. 7) Is willing to step up and do something when needed (Like, say, fetch my sister from the airport. Something random like that.) 8) Can stand up for himself, but isn't pushy or is a pushover. 9) 10)
9. What feeling do you love most? I dont' know... Happiness? Contentment? Pride, the one you get when you accomplish something?
10. What is your bad habit? I don't tell anyone anything much about me/how crappy I'm feeling. Oh, and I can be quite cold sometimes (Coming across as mean)(*cough*Chooi Si*cough*). Or I can start ranting novels (Yih Shan is the usual victim of this one) about nothing at all.
Okay, those are habits, but not neccessarily bad habits. Hee.
11. Is there anything you want to tell people who hate you? Thanks for being emotionally invested to hate me. Such an honour. A bit dubious, yes, but at least you *think* you know me. =D
12. Do you cherish every single friendship of yours? Of course!
13. What does flying mean to you? Freedom and success.
14. Who do you love? God (Yih Shan directed me to Ivana Hong's site, which had a really cute fun fact which I agree to, and I quote, "Ivana likes frogs. Why? Because it means Fully Rely on God" Hahaha, win), my family (From the parents to the sister to the grandparents to the cousins, the entire charade), my friends.
15. Where would you want to travel to? Oh, so many places! I'd love to go back to Europe. I'd love to go to New York City (Museums + City = My sort of place to go to). I'd love to go to Beijing again. Also, I'd love to go to Canada.
16. Describe the person who tagged you in 7 words Cheryl May Chong Sue Faye
(Gonna quote 13 on this one - "You can't oversimplify people", this is gonna be tricky!) 1) Awesomesauce! 2) Is a great friend 3) Knows how to give 4) Knows how to love 5) Is blessed :) 6) Blesses others 7) Is an awesome pet sister - more awesome than yours! (Unless I'm your pet sister. But I don't recall having another pet sibling. HAHAHAHAHA LOL I'm so distracted sometimes)
17. What would you really like to do right now? WRITE THE STUFF I'M SUPPOSED TO, INSTEAD OF PROCRASTINATING. HA.

19. How to find the right partner? (Cheryl's answer was so lame, I loved it.) Patience. The person may be there *right* in front of you, though you don't realize it.
20. What are you wishing for right NOW? 10A1's!
On a more shallow note: - A new MP3 player - A tablet. A4 sized. - To be able to travel the world
I tag you! - Min Shen - Yih Shan - Jen - Annnnnyone?
Sometimes I feel like such a bad classmate
Seriously. And that I'd be heckled at by my classmates until... Whenever. LOL.
Not like I had a choice. I told myself I'll only go when my parents came home and gave me the a-okay to walk over to Ming Feng's house for an hour or something to hang out with my classmates, but my parents were home late last night, so I couldn't. And Commander in Chief was on from 9-10. Hehehe.
Anyway, I still have things I need to clear from my table/cupboard/bedroom which I haven't done yet. So I think I need to get my life stuff sorted out before blogging some more, hee.

I need to find something to stress myself out over. Pimples are popping out again (I have clear skin when I'm stressed. WTH, right? LOL)
Or I should just get back to a normal sleeping schedule, but that doesn't really help.
Had lunch in Pyramid, walked around, am home and is sleepy now.
A quick snippet before I go...
I was reading the newspaper just now; the Comments page. Someone wrote 'Doctors/med students should not work for 36 hours straight' (I'm paraphrasing).
Something struck me, and I went to check. I have these random notes everywhere; based on ER (I know it's a TV show, but their writers are doctors), surgical interns (Basically in between med student and doctor) in the US (At least, at that time, and at that particular fictional hospital) work 36 hour shifts. My notes, which aren't really notes, and actually is this insanity of a fic written with Yih Shan has a quote as, "Surgeons working 36 hour shifts should not be able to run betting rings." "But I'm in the hospital all the time! It works"
Anyway, the point being, Malaysia's going to have really lousy doctors then.
When you want to be a doctor, before you think about soothing your God Complex, you need to know the amount of stress and insanity you're going to go through in your Internship (Housemanship in this country, I think) and early years of practicing medicine. If you can't handle your stress, forget about saving lives.
But then again, the episode of ER in which I got the 36 hour thing from was the one where Corday, who was having issues with her fellowship, was having to redo a year of internship or something, and she killed a patient or something like that because she was too tired. I can't really remember.

I enrolled for college!
After much deliberation and blah blah blah, I signed up for SAM in Taylor's. January intake, unless I can get into the first batch of NS.
So I have, in front of me, a DEFERRAL letter.
Anyway, Orientation's on 5 Jan.
OH, OH, and I picked what I felt was the most awesome subject combination for me. =D
It was between ESL, Maths, Bio, Chem, Psychology - which would be clinical psychology (There's an Arts psychology as well) and ESL, Maths, Bio, Chem and Econs.
I took Econs. Hahahaha. Totally not me, but you know, leaves more doors open for me. I STILL can do Science, and I STILL can do Liberal Arts/Social Science (Political Science, Sociology, etc. etc.).
I still get a lab coat and goggles for taking Bio and Chem. HAHAHA.
So, uh, yeah. That's gonna be my life next year, I guess.
OH, OH, THAT ALSO MEANS I CAN GO DOWN TO SINGAPORE FOR CHRISTMAS
WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!
And I just HAVE to post this here - It's ALICIA SACRAMONE'S BIRTHDAY TODAY! Okay, not for her in US time, but WHATEVER.
And Su Ann shares the same date! Awesomesauce.
ALSO, Chellsie Memmel likes collecting frogs. I couldn't stop laughing after reading that.
I have School!Part 2 in the drafts. I spent a LONG time on Form 1. And I'm supposed to write about secondary school, LOL.
Also, I'm updating the acronym list, so you guys don't get too confused on my random terms. Whee.
I'm like, on crack or something. LIFE is my crack.

Um... Just to break away from the poignant, reflecting posts...
After Justine retired, Rolex stopped sponsoring her.
HAHAHA. After much re-evaluation, they've taken her up again. WIN!
How awesome is that? As sponsorships are hard to come by for people now as the economy takes a downturn, Justine Henin, retired World Number 1 in tennis is still getting sponsorships.
Awesomesauce (I've been using it a lot lately, I don't know why, haha).
Anyway, Yih Shan spent practically half her day over at my place (As usual), with guest appearances by Yenn Ling, Christina and Li Za (I was like, who's that girl in the I <3 SU shirt? OH. LI ZA?! WHAT'S SHE DOING HERE?). Poor Yenn Ling had an acupuncture session earlier, LOL.
School! Part 1: Me? A kid?
Here I begin an epic long post after a long rant about things. Anyway.
It's hard to believe that my 11 years in the school system is over, and that now I am moving on to college. The last 2 years, especially, seemed very fast for me. Form 3, if I recall correctly, felt like it was very long. I guess it was mostly because of my being an AJK.
Funny how the years felt shorter as I grew older.
Fun fact: I used to go to kindergarten with Li Za, Dic Vinn, Jon Yoon and Lisa, to name a few. I took the bus with Lisa (We used to read the expletives that were scribbled on the back of the bus seats, haha). Lisa was like my awesome friend in kindergarten, okay? And, haha, I remember sitting beside Amirul back then too.
ANYWAY.
PRIMARY SCHOOL.
I still stand firm with my saying that Standard 6 was one of my best years of my life, if not THE best year. But I shall begin from, well, the beginning anyway. SS19 was an awesome school. In Std 1, I took the bus to school. With Dhivya. Her sis and my sis are as old as each other, so they knew each other and they sat together in the bus. So, technically, Dhiv was one of my first friends from primary school. Anyway, we sat together on the bus. Every morning. In the same seat.
In class, I sat beside a certain Ng Min Shen, whose name I always forgot, but thankfully, she had one of those bags that came with the trolleys, and she had her name written on it, and she put it in the middle (If memory serves me right, we sat at the back. And she was sitting on the left, while I sat on the right). So that was a way to remember her name. LOL. Sorry, Shen. My name-memorizing skills suck compared to yours back then.
Min Shen was already an artist back then, right? Drawing all those Sailor Moon stuff. Hahaha. Oh, and drawing the illustrations from Enid Blyton books... right? Anyway, Min Shen has always been taller than me, and that has never changed. Hmph. Oh, then she dumped me for SJ in Std 2. I didn't even see THAT coming. Haha. Well, who does? Not that you really care about moving schools when you're 7, LOL. Lisa was also in 19 in Std 1, but she was in another class. She moved to SJ in Std 2, too. Hahaha.
Standard 2 was one of my weirdest years in school. My class teacher was virtually nonexistant for most of the year, so my class got split up. I wanted to go to SS (Yih Shan's class), because we had Moral with them for the previous year, so I knew people there. But I got sent to KS instead. Sheesh. But, if I recall correctly, Candy! was in KS. I don't remember much from Standard 2 because it's not that interesting.
Standard 3 was blah, as well. Although a little less boring. I became a librarian... That's how I first met Julia. I remember sitting for PTS. And that my close friends were Sook Yee and Phoebe. And that I hung out with the guys more. Hee. That was one thing in Primary School - I hung out more with the guys. But in secondary school... That sorta changed, eh? Anyway, at the end of Standard 3, we were streamed for Standard 4 (Because streaming only started in Std 4). I was placed in SS with people like JEN! and JULIA! YIH SHAN! LATHA! HASHEENA! CANDY! XIN YIN! JO LYN! JONATHAN (Yang)! JIMMY (I sat beside him in... Std 6? Always called him 'Chin Hong')! ERIK! JOSHUA! ZATY! DHIIIIIVYA! ETC! ETC! Anyway, I sat beside Yih Shan and we decided we'd sit together for the next year. Julia interested me because she was basically this really hyper bouncy ball of insanity (And she was a librarian on duty with me for a short while, so I technically knew her), and Jen was so quiet she amused me. Sorry Jen. I just knew you were more awesome than you let in. Haha.
In Standard 5, I was also in SS. And by this time, I was really, really close with Jen and Julia and Yih Shan. On the tuition front, I went to the British Council, and that's how I knew Alex before she came to SS19. I also met Aaron (Lim, 5 Zeta) and May Yuan (Also 5 Zeta, LOL) in BC.
At the end of Standard 5, and I don't think I'll be the only one remembering this - it was post-exams, so we were all free doing all our stuff. And Jen, Julia and I would be playing Lego (Yes. We were very feminine). While Sharvinna and the others would play with Barbie dolls (Haha, stark contrast from one end of the classroom to the other). One day, there was this new girl who would be joining us next year, and that she'd come to settle in before Std 6, or something. Julia and I, being the psychotic ones, were all, "WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN US? 8D"
Must've freaked Cheryl out then, HAHAHA. Anyway, I remember she was all, "Uuuh... No thanks?" but we left an open invitation anyway. We were so awesome back then. LOL, kidding.
Anyway, Cheryl also became one of my closest friends in Std 6. She was always with Candy, LOL. But since our names were one after the other, we sat beside each other during exams. And we had fun exchanging stories. Especially hers. Haha. Stepping on staplers, kicking doctors during routine checkups... Oh, and there was once, she had a really bad asthma attack... was it during trials? Anyway, that was quite scary. We got to call her aunt, though. And now she's fine and dandy.
Standard 6 also had a lot of insane moments. Yih Shan, Dhiv and I used to join the guys to play football. We played a lot of handball. Oh, and the Ramble. Ah, the Ramble was so awesome. I think Julia still has our 20+ volumes. With Anthrax (Fine. It was talcum powder. But, whatevs) in it.
We had the best teachers in Std 6. Pn Chang, especially, and she always was in the Bilik Muzik with Pn Yeoh (Ju Yinn's mum! HAHAHAHAHA!) chatting in Hokkien or whatever dialect they chatted in. It was definitely not Cantonese or Mandarin.
Whenever we had lessons in the computer lab, Pn Chang and all would be "Finish the questions then you can play the games" (The thing has UPSR questions, then if you achieved a certain score you could play Vs Tetris. So there was a whole Tetris Cup thing in class). Julia, Jen and I amused ourselves, not by playing tetris, but by tweaking with HTML on Microsoft Frontpage. LOL. SEE. THAT IS HOW I KNOW HTML.
UPSR ended, there was this end-of-the-year sports thing for us to pass time. So we played handball, duh. I remember interchanging between Yih Shan to be goalie. We got... What? Third? Second? I can't remember now.
And I was an idiot. Don't ask me why, but I EFFING SKIPPED THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. WTF WAS WRONG WITH ME?!
I was in Melbourne when the UPSR results came out, LOL. When I got back the first thing I did was call Yih Shan to ask. Woohoo!
And then, there was SECONDARY SCHOOL.
Okay, I'm not feeling eloquent right now, so Part 2 will be up when I do.
