Sorry for the lack of pictures, but anyway. Four envelopes, lots of papers, lots of money poured into it, I have passed them to the Placement Centre to courier the documents off to New York and Washington DC. Nothing matters now. I have sent my (only) applications to the United States. Please pray for me, people. :) PS. I completely revamped my essay. I edited the beginning (Cut most of it until the bit where it was my first time on public transport), cut out the bits where I was talking about arts and sports, and just elaborated on the Bio/Econs and added about my experience as a prefect (the softer side, not about the leadership. That was covered by my resume). Thanks for the help, people. I didn't really take all of it to heart, sorry, but I think Min Shen's and Jen's were some of the most valuable. Especially Min Shen's friend saying that it felt like I lacked focus. Please thank him for me! And Jen, your Aunt, too! Thank you very much, Joel, Edmond and Sue Sue Sue Sue Mae! Love you guys. Also, thank you Wei Wen for forwarding me your resume to take a look at. Boy you have a lot of activities. My 1 page resume looked tiny against yours, heheh. Looking forward to the end of Finals. And for my sister coming back (Hey, that's new! Ooh, and Kache, could you please get caaaaaaaandy canes?). And Singapore in November. And Singapore in December. And Singapore again. And not looking forward to uni/SAM results. Then looking forward to Singapore again. And something. I don't know. If my SAM results are good enough I'll go take an internship or something. LIFE. IT'S FRIGHTENING. COVER YOUR EYES, KIDDIES. IT'S A ROUGH RIDE AHEAD. |
